Hi all,
Welcome back to another episode on the MindCep Podcast and in today’s first episode of Transformation Tuesday’s discusses the importance of mindfulness & exercise.
In this first episode of my Transformation Tuesday series I will share different tips relating to mental & physical performance for you.
I recommend the headspace app for daily guided meditation, and currently if you do not have weights at home to utilize bodyweight exercises. Right now since many of us don’t have access to a gym we have to get creative with bodyweight training.
Here is a quick daily workout ranging from 5-30 minutes (your choice on the workout time haha) to get a daily workout in to stay healthy and happy during this difficult time:
3 exercises x 3 sets x 30 seconds/set x 10-15 seconds rest/set
-Pushups (As many as possible within 30 sec)
-Bodyweight Squats (ASAP)
-Ab Planks (ASAP)
I know it isn’t sexy but its super simple and easy to follow at home and from anywhere you are. You can increase the time under tension (40 sec sets versus 30 sec sets), or the number of sets 4 sets versus 3 sets, to get more of a burn during this workout and customize to your liking.
