Hi All,
In today’s video, I am going to discuss “How to Avoid Bad Habits”.
My top 3 tips for Avoiding Bad Habits Are:
1. Changing your Environment
- By changing the environment in which you are in, this can help to avoid bad habits.
- If you are in a toxic environment, where people are speaking negatively you’re more likely to develop bad habits.
- Associate with positive people in positive environments to develop good habits
2. Focusing on Positive Self-Talk
- Speaking negatively to ourselves or others is a big no no. How do we counteract negative self-talk?
- Surround yourself with positive people in positive environments.
- People will gravitate towards positive vibes usually naturally.
- Use your own positive self-talk, listen to motivational videos, podcasts, or read positive or influential books from thought leaders across various industries.
3. Swapping Bad Habits for a Good Habits
- Everyone has good habits and bad habits. In order to change your bad habits, you want to swap for better ones.
- Particularly a newer positive habit you have built such as eating healthier.
- By starting small, and picking a good habit such as eating more vegetables and avoiding junk food, you will feel more optimistic.
- This will be a slow and gradual change from swapping a bad to a good habit.
